NOC List and Requirements for SINP

If you are applying for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), you may have to provide documentation associated with professional licensure or status (in some cases). If required, your application for SINP will be held for processing until you provide such proof. Remember, you must attach all the required documents in your application, otherwise, your application will be considered as incomplete and will be returned to you. In this situation, there will be no refund of your application fee.

2131 Civil engineers You must provide documentation indicating your Engineer-in-Training membership or academic assessment result letter showing that you have been assigned Confirmatory Exams. You must get the documentation or letter from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
2132 Mechanical engineers You must provide documentation indicating your Engineer-in-Training membership or academic assessment result letter showing that you have been assigned Confirmatory Exams. You must get the documentation or letter from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
2133 Electrical and electronics engineers You must provide documentation indicating your Engineer-in-Training membership or academic assessment result letter showing that you have been assigned Confirmatory Exams. 2147 Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers) You must provide documentation indicating your Engineer-in-Training membership or academic assessment result letter showing that you have been assigned Confirmatory Exams. 2151 Architects You must provide your “Academic Certification” or documentation from the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) indicating your acceptance into the Broadly Experienced Foreign Architect (BEFA) program. This must include an invitation to apply to the self-assessment phase (2nd step).
2154 Land Surveyors You must provide documentation from the Canadian Board of Examiners for Professional Surveyors (CBEPS) that will indicate your “Candidate status” and eligibility to participate in the CBEPS candidate examinations.
2173 Software engineers and designers You must provide documentation from the Canadian Association of Information Technology Professionals (CIPS), which will indicate your:

·         Candidate Membership as an Associate Information Technology Professional (AITP); or,

·         Certified Membership as an Information System Professional (ISP); or,

·         Certified Membership as an Information Technology Certified Professional of Canada (ITCP).

2175 Web designers and developers You must provide documentation from the Canadian Association of Information Technology Professionals (CIPS), which will indicate your:

·         Candidate Membership as an Associate Information Technology Professional (AITP); or,

·         Certified Membership as an Information System Professional (ISP); or,

Certified Membership as an Information Technology Certified Professional of Canada (ITCP).

4151 Psychologists You must provide documentation from the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, which will prove your eligibility for provisional licensure.
4212 Social and community service workers You must provide your assessment of equivalency letter from the Canadian Association of Social Workers, which will prove that your foreign credential is equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor or Masters of Social Work.
4214 Early childhood educators and assistants You must provide documentation from the Ministry of Education, which will prove your eligibility for Early Childhood Educator Certification.
3211 Medical laboratory technologists You must provide a copy of your valid licensure (provisional or temporary) from the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists.
3216 Medical sonographers You must provide documentation from Sonography Canada, which will indicate your eligibility to challenge their qualifying examinations. Or,

You must provide your proof of Sonography Certification or Examination Confirmation Letter (ECL) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Note: you can participate in ARDMS examinations from various testing centers worldwide through Pearson VUE.

7231 Machinists If you are an Express Entry applicant, you must provide a certificate of qualification from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) as per Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s Express Entry requirements.
